Twitter: Love it, hate it, use it.

Do any of you use Twitter? It’s one of those technologies that’s semi-famous, but not yet mainstream.

Because it’s still relatively new, lots of people are unclear about what it is. It’s basically a quick way to send out a thought, idea or useless/useful piece of information to anyone who wants to see it. And you in turn can follow other people’s ideas/thoughts/ useless OR useful information.

I happen to think it’s a really great tool– that’s why we use it at The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. It’s a great way to connect with members, share resources and get answers to questions from the crowd.

Not everyone agrees of course! Here’s political consultant Mark McKinnon telling us why he hates it.
