How do you instill integrity in students?

Happy I Stand for Integrity Week! NSCS started this initiative a couple of years ago to recognize the importance of integrity. NSCS chapters across the country are holding banner signings, panels and other events right now, in recognition of this important value.

I wanted to share a really cool article from Inside HigherEd about a new book that discusses instilling integrity in students. I know that many college students get lectures, warnings and the fear of all that is holy, put in them regarding academic integrity. But as this book rightly points out, the pressures to succeed and the commoditization of knowledge and academia has made students more focused on the good grades than the act of learning. I think it’s a on-target piece, and I definitely encourage you to read it.
